Principle # 5

#5 Embrace God's Way

Voluntarily submit to every change God wants to make in my life and humbly ask him to remove my character defects.

This is the step where the "rubber meets the road". Embracing God's ways does not come easily for most of us dealing with serious hurts and struggles because it is time for us to do something about them. Most habits are hard to break, so let's face it... this is going to take commitment. Most of us are willing to do "some things" God's way, but to aim do all things God's way is a big step. Let me just say now, you can do this! The only question is are you sick and tired of just going through all the motions of this life? Are you ready for authentic faith and true healing from the pains of life? Take a minute and listen to this song and ask yourself...

Am I Ready?

Romans 12:1-2 (MSG)   So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life-your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life-and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him.  Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity,
God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.
